Thickening GW Paint Empty
PostSubject: Thickening GW Paint   Thickening GW Paint EmptySat Jul 20, 2013 6:55 am

Hey guys,
Me and Tricia are in need of help. Just opened a new pot of Bleached Bone and its like water - seems like there is hardly any paint pigment in it at all! So does anyone know a way of thickening the paint up, or draining out excess water so we can actually paint with it rather than use it as a wash lol

Normally people with paint problems are trying to recover a paint that's drying out... I suppose you could just leave it open to the air, don't close the pot properly, leave it in the sunshine or keep the same pot for ten years, those tricks seem to work for my dried paints (not sure how accurate that process will be though)

Personally I'd just take it back to the shop, show them, ask for a replacement.

Agree if its a new one then take it back. Ive had an abadon black thats like piss water doesnt even cover black primer it was that bad. While on the whole the new paints are great there does seem to be some consistency problems

I've found the new paints separate quite easily. Give it a damn good shake (45 secs). That might work.
