Club Night - 30/12/13

So, the final club night of the year... who is attending and what are you bringing?

Personally I'm up for something a little different and will be bringing a Battlestar Galactica board game down that I recently picked up. Neil said he's in, anyone else wish to join us? Up to 6 players.

I don't mind playing unless the guy I played last week is down and wants a 1 on 1. I'm crap with names so lets call him Jeff. Otherwise I'm in. Hope you all had a good xmas. I got some new toys for the campaign next month and for my Khador army. Plus an awesome Emperor dressing gown (star wars ine) has the oversize hood n everything. No lightning yet though.

Missed out on a game last week. Anyone interested in playing 40k, say 2000 Pts? Either that or a 4 player 1000 Pts each game?

I'm up for a 40k game and due to my blue badge holder of an army wouldn't mind being part of a 4 player game.

Ron, bring 2000 Pts just in case we don't get 4 players. Are the guys from Southampton coming? Is Paul coming?

Ginge do we have any contacts for the gosport guys to see if both are coming so steve has a game. Dont know if scotts coming and that would mean you or neil stepping up but you have plans. Steve comes a long way to not have a game.

Just checked the book, seems I haven't grabbed the contact details for those guys yet... to be honest we're near the end of this book I was gonna get a new book in the new year and do an updated contact list at the start of it - I think the one we have at the moment still has an old number for Ivan in it it's that old!

I appreciate Stephen wanting to play, and hell me and Neil need to find a third if we want to play BSG so it might be worth Neil bringing his ogres too - a lot easier for him to pack an ogre army than for me to pack an Empire one. I just fancied doing something a little different, more chilled out... plus with a lower expected attendance I was thinking a shorter gaming evening for myself leaving plenty of time to pack everything away safely - remember we need to put all the scenery into the shed at the end of Mondays gaming...

Hi guys if it's easier i'll leave it this week. Make a new start in the new year, just don't want to leave it to long before playing again lol.

Well come I shall have an army and I can bring a bigger one so if you both turn up I can take you both or if he brings orcs you can have a rematch. He might evem bring his mate again.

For some reason reading bits of Rich's last post in isolation I found very amusing. Clearly all the painting I'm doing is affecting me...../sigh  

As to tonight, I don't think I'll be down as going to watch the Hobbit  , but depending on when it finish I may pop in. If I don't make it I hope you all have a great New Year!
