If someone is up for big game of 40k I fancy rocking 2.5 - 3k use some nice toys. Could even ignore force org for some interesting mix ups

I will be down with 1.5k 40k army to join in a random doubles game. Plus i will bring a necromunda gang if some one wants a game of that. Did anyone role for exp and territories last week.

Rich, After last weeks excitement, I've changed my mind and going to play necromunda again. I've started to knock some campaign ideas in the format of a under hive news letter. If anyone didn't roll for territories and exp last week we can do that before any games start. I'll bring 1500 pts of marines aswell just in case no one has their necromunda stuff.

I did Rob and Paul's post game rolls/purchases. I still need to all my post game stuff.
I'll bring along my nercomunda stuff. I also would be interested in a 40k game to try the new Tyranid codex (expect much mumbling/grumbling).

im up for a bit more necromunda, Although I have done all my rolls with scott. I do have a question, I was told that I could buy weapons or roll on a table. So I went with the weapon option however after downloading the rules cant find anywhere where it says you cant do both, I could be blind of cause as dont know my way around the rules yet, so can someone direct me in the direction of the ruling please, thanks

Page 97 under House Weapon lists, once roled for the number of rare items offerred you can chose to use each offer for ethier a common weapon not on the house list or a rare item. You must decided before rolling for the rare items. You can buy any number of house list weapons or common equipment items. I believe this is rule you are looking for. If i'm wrong i'm sure some one will correct me.

When buying weapons you can do this. You can roll to see what rare trade you are offered using those rules. Or you can forgo that roll and buy 1 commom item not usually available to your gang. As far as im aware buying common items your gang has on its starting list effects neither and can be done at anytime under the assumption you probly know a guy down the pub and see him every night. You cant roll on the rare trade get crap then chose to buy the common item not normally available its one or the other.

I didn't realise that was the exact rule (we didn't have the updated sourcebook to hand). In that case, Rob needs to roll his D3 to see how many offers he has, as he may have 1-2 possible rare trades alongside the one non-gang common item I believe he wanted to buy. Of course, if it was a standard house weapon like a lasgun, he still has all his rolls.
Rich H - I haven't made a new army list under the codex yet, so I'm not sure on the impact to the army from the new points cost. Do you want to make a 2000 and 2500 point list and we'll see what is appropriate based on what I have painted and time on Monday?

Yeah, yeah, I'm aware I haven't used the forums much since the site move Razz
Shadows in the warp still exists (12", -3LD now for psychic tests).
