Hi guys

Right, fantasy campaign games, we didn't have time to organise who was playing what week, so check the Blood in the Badlands part of the forum and we'll sort it out.

As for the 40k lot, who is attending and what are you bringing?

Also quick one guys, the barman was a bit frustrated cos we were a little late leaving this week. On this occasion it was us lot needing to do campaign rolls, but it's been 40k players from time to time too. So this is just a general request, we need to try to aim to be out by 12 in future. In particular next week. They're more likely to let us off if it's infrequent. With that in mind, if you have a game lined up, want to play a big game or whatever, please write your list up before you arrive. It's probably also worth sticking to 2k lists for 40k for a spell until we are all more used to 7th edition and can breeze through things quickly again.

Both myself and Adam are down this week so any game for one or both of us would be good. Neither of us currently have the 7th ed rules so it'll have to be playing 6th ed.

Yet again, sunning my self in Spain. Will see u guys next week. On a positive I've brought the rule books for 7th with me so (hopefully) will be spec'ed up by my next game. Have fun!

Hi guys. Has anyone had a good run through of the 7th edition psychic rules in any of there games yet? I've been stuck at work and am now on hols, and have read some horror reviews on Facebook of people summoning thousands of points of demons etc... Ginge, is the club looking to implement any house rules on this (eg - must have the models) or is this going to be a decision made by the players?

Note - I asked ginge, not rich, who must have creamed his pants when reading those new rules!

Well we as a club don't generally do house rules on these thigns as I don't generally think the player base here is abusive enough to require it...

HOWEVER, I think something sensible like "having the models" would be a good start... Simply saying "This beermat is a unit of Bloodletters and this coke can is a Bloodthirster" would probably be taking the piss a little bit...

Although its cash in the pocket for gw I would suggest if your summoning units then get the models. Even though I have daemons in games when I dont have the spare models as they are already in my army I dont use malefic powers. 40k is hard enough to keep track of now without getting confused over whole units of whats what and which ones the champ and who's the herald n that.

hopefully scott sees this but i won't be down tomorrow as got a virus. Least we only have one game this turn so can play next week.

In other campaign news, Jason and I will be fighting our battle tonight, so at least that's one of the fantasy games out of the way...

Oh, and Alan, if you and Adam are still playing 6th ed, fancy a game next week? I have been burying my head in the sand for the past couple weeks as I have a tournament to go to in 2 weeks that is playing 6th ed rules, be good to get a practice game in.

Don't worry I'm taking the army to enter the best painted army half of the contest this isn't going to be a brutal list I got annihilated the only game I've tested it in so far   

It's 1850 points (I'm using Dark Eldar) No escalation or Stronghold and interestingly must include a special character.
