| Right guys, result came back, we have a reprieve.
The room is ours for £10 a week. To cover the cost of this (and to continue club investment at current levels) we are raising the cost of attendance to £2 per week. This at least puts us at the same price to turn up and play as Legion. Let's just ignore the yearly subscription.
There are a couple of conditions to the deal, one being that if they find another group that wants to rent the room on a Tuesday night for the asking price they wanted us to pay then we will vacate the premises for them, for which they will give us one months notice. Can't argue with that, seems fair, although probably a fairly empty threat for the time being. The other condition is that we will review this every three months, although barring a miraculous upshot in the clubs attendance I can't see our position changing much, hopefully they can understand this.
The club does have a facebook page, which has fallen into neglect because no one ever used it, but next week I'm going to bring down some more of that posh scenery we were gifted and my camera, take some nice pictures. Use them to update the facebook page - we may not be the biggest club in Portsmouth, but our facilities are reasonable and our scenery is pretty bloody good at the moment, so let's capitalise on that to try to draw in new blood, now that we are currently safe. for the time being. I shall take away a couple of the lesser used boxes of scenery as we know the club don't ike us keeping too much stuff there and I don't want to antagonise them too much.
So, as for this week...
I believe Scott and Rich A were discussing playing Armada, I'd like to bring my Orks out for another game (although if I don't get a game lined up I'm sure I'll have plenty to keep me occupied) Who else is attending and what are you bringing?

| I don't mind anything but not sure I can be assed with 40K unless it's my only option. | |

| I'll be down with 40K if anyone wants a game? Ginge, would be happy to give your orks a run out against my Ad Mech or marines if you want? I have a robot list (including 3 cool robots from 30k if you'll let me use them) that i'd be happy to play you with. | |

| One of the lottery guys (Josh I think, apologies) wants to see how his collection of space Marine and 40k works in general and I'll be bringing my marines but if someone more adept than myself wants to run through a beginning game or games then that's cool | |

| Well if we have a few 40kers about we can figure out who is playing who on the night if needs be, although I will say that maybe Jamie and his forge world goodies isn't the best person for an "introduction" game Jamie, if I play you, I am happy to have you bring whatever you fancy. Jason I assume you meant lotr guys, if we had lottery guys in attendance I'd be looking to get a club sponsor Rich, if I have time I'll put my xwing stuff in the car, that way if we end up with an odd number of 40k-ers (not including yourself) then I will have the option to step over to xwing if you prefer it. But looking at the talk on the forum so far, 40k seems the safest option to get a game. on the bright side, you only live round the corner, so if plans change you can rectify your situation quite easily... | |

| Rich - cool
Jamie - The word "war" implies both sides have a chance of hurting each other, your forge world toys against a newbie would be the biggest Edward Norton inspired Kerb-stomp since the British Empire went to war with Zanzibar for 30 minutes... | |

| It's like David vs Goliath if David was a new born baby and Goliath was just a massive fat guy who didn't see the baby and sat on him. In this version David doesn't win because he's a fecking baby. | |
