Rich as I kept seeing one from each division asking for a game each week i've merged the divisions... Everyone will play everyone once. I'll try the division thing again when we have regular games.

Sods law this week everyone wants to play bloodbowl, so i'll give you a game.

Especially against your str 2 blocker or is he still injured for this game?

Checked my own question... anyone who got a serious injury misses their next game, in addition to any other effects. So sadly I don't get to beat up your str 2 blocker, that is fun your next opponent shall have...

My mistake, always was something that bugged me about Orcs in bloodbowl, blitzers have BLOCK but Blockers don't... meant I frequently call them the wrong thing

Guess you'll have a few journeymen and a few inducements in our game. Neil really fucked you... he injured your team, then completely rolled over against mine. In my first game one of my three blockers gained the BLOCK skill, but Neil rolled over so tamely the other two got the skill too. I now have 7 players with the BLOCK skill. We're ready to break some skulls

Well, least it will be interesting. I've got a friendly scheduled in for the weekend, so worst case I should get some players back for the next league game! (That's if friendly's count as the "miss next game)??

People were concerned that friendlies could be used as "clubbing baby seals" exercises to build teams, so it was decided that while games could be played away from the club, it needed to be between league participants or at least have a league participant watching (other than the player) to say "yes, he really did score 8 touchdowns with the same gutter runner... while causing 5 casualties... yes, I appreciate this was unlikely..."

If you want to play non league members you can play at club fine as other people will be around to see. If you want to play someone who isn't in the league and you don't want a chaperone, it's gonna have to be a standalone game I'm afraid... use your roster by all means, but none of it will count towards the league, so don't record it.

But to answer your question, a friendly at the club or against a league participant WOULD count for the miss next game, but of course you run the risk of picking up other miss next games that would then count for your next league game. The only difference for friendlies is no MVP and the gate receipts are D3 rather than D6.

Yeah that's fine then, call it a league game, everything counts MVP injuries the lot. We're all in one division, everyone plays each other once. I'll try to do the two division thing once people are getting regular games in.
