You will note that the thousand sons were the only unit to kill one of your Demon Princes (ol' red). The other only survived because it had mark of cheese, and because at that point I had no army.

Your thousand sons only got him after the rest of your army missed and a lucky shot grounded him. Be'lakor doesnt have a mark hes the unwanted son of all 4 gods. Hes just awesome.
