I'm playing Rich F campaign game. Ginge is playing Jason campaign game. Go Ginge and will serve Jason right for resorting to deathstar tactics to beat me.

Rest of you sign up here. Army list critique from a list with 5 monsters in it! His paper beat your rock. Deathstar beats dinosaur I haven't got another campaign game, so anyone fancy a game of 40k?

| My list was and is themed for the campaign, with some advice his deathstar was specifically designed to kill my themed units.
Its not 100% due to that anyway it was partly my deployment. I just wanted to line my beaties up together. Had I deployed sensibly that game would not have gone that way as he would never have hit 2 stegadons at the same time on the charge and a flank charge prevents the cauldron fighting as its not a character so cant make way.
Its not the last time he will see that army in his lines.

| I don't see it as a mistake as it made a really cool picture but tactically it was in error but I will make amends and make Jason feel my wrath, as soon as I'm done losing to dwarves next week | |

| I've just found all the rules for 40k 2nd edition. This includes a big collection of cards and templates. Free to a good home if anyone's interested? Otherwise it will be skipped. | |

| Are the imperial knights/that eldar and tau walker thing super heavies? Does that mean I can field a super heavy tank in normal 40k now? Haven't read escalation yet? Paul, are u running an imperial knight tonight? Can I run a baneblade/fellblade or similar? | |

| Imperial Knights are super heavy walkers, so if hes using one, then that would be the escalation rules. They basically allow you to take one superheavy, but also give your opponent extra rules/traits!
Eldar Knights and Tau Riptide are not (there classed as monsterous creatures and Elites I believe).

| My understanding was that the Imperial Knight does not use the Escalation rules, the codex states that it can be taken as an allies slot, not a lord of war. This is way there is uproar about it having a D-strength weapon as it brings it into a conventional 40K game. Edit: Check out the links in this rules thread... https://hammernales.forumotion.co.uk/t181-imperial-knight-rules | |

| I'd rather you didn't cause I'd have no chance as they have twice as many hull points and guns! plus already your playing with a new codex, you have centurians, grav guns, fliers all which space wolves cant have so that would just be suicide for me. we could maybe work something out at a later date to use one at the club. | |

| I was of the understanding that the emperial knights are used in a normal standard 40k game and not part of escalation. | |
