40k League

Yeah that's the way I'm doing it.

Although, up to you guys if you make this a league game or not. Personally I'd like to know before I wrote my list whether I was playing home or away (the defending army get's acute senses, so I may include an outflanking unit or two that I might not normally bother with) whilst the attacker gets to pick the mission, so can perhaps choose an army list that suits his mission objectives... but hell, if people want to just roll off when they get here, I've got no problem with that.

Ginge, are you going to put the league progress up weekly? whats the plans with updates pal? I'd love to see who is beating who and who i need to look out for if i want to win this thing!! (not competitive at all am i?)

I'm thinking maybe every couple of weeks to put it up, but give it a few weeks for people to get games in first... as right now the league stands at Dale 3 points EVERYONE else 0... bit boring at the moment...

To Summarise...

AWAY: Picks Mission
HOME: Sets Scenery
HOME: Rolls for choosing deployment edge
HOME: Chooses whether or not to reroll that die
AWAY: Rolls for choosing table edge
VICTOR OF ROLL: As per standard mission
AWAY: Can reroll "Seize the Initiative" roll, if applicable
HOME: Army gains Acute Senses special rule regardless

I'll wait until we've got another few weeks of gaming out of the way before putting up the first league update, as right now it's a bit boring results wise...

Ginge, If it comes down to it and your guard and My Mech finish as they are at the moment, i think we need to do a rematch on that game pal!

If by the end of the league my guard and your mech finish on 7 points each, I won't really give a rats arse about playing the rematch to see who came second to last and who came third to last... I'm working on the assumption that Neil will be last here

But yeah, I get your point, but do bear in mind there are 4 other armies which are running at 100% at the moment... only over one or two games to be fair...
