Club Night - 04/03/13

Ok, the scores from the campaign. Chaos are leading the way with 73 points, with the Imperials trailing on 51 and the Orks languishing in third with 43... but they don't care, cos they is arder than you lot iz.

Individual scores it has got a lot tighter on each team... well, apart from the Orks. The Imperials have Rob P leading on 15 points, Neil and Jason breathing down his neck on 14, with Tim trailing on 6. Course Tim isn't all that far out... not when you look at the chaos team! Tom and Rich H are now tied on 70 points, Rich F is chasing with 62, and Rich A is bringing up the rear on 20. But given Rich A has accumulated one of the biggest territorial shares on the map and can earn 20 points a turn from his territory at the moment, he's far from out of the running...

Anyway, everyone ran off before all the games were played, so we didn't do challenges. So I will list the order of challenges, and hopefully people can issue some challenges via the forum, or failing that when you see each other in person next week. Any challenges that are issued via the forum, priority will be given to the highest person on the challenge list as long as the challenge is put on the forum before midnight FRIDAY. I want to give people the weekend to plan their armies and such. Any challenges made after MIDNIGHT Friday (the end of Friday, as in when it changes to Saturday) will either have to hope their challengee is free, or just play it next week.

Anyway, priority list is as follows:
1 - Rob W, but given how he is down to his last flag due to not turning up so much of late I am going to forbid challenging him until I can find out if he can continue participating in the campaign.
2 - Tim
3 - Jason
4 - Neil
5 - Rob P
6 - Tom
7 - Ginge
8 - Rich H
9 - Rich A
10 - Rich F

And of course, with Paul, Paul and Jamie around, there'll be plenty of opportunity for friendly games too.

Would like to thank Tim for an epic game. Wasnt just brutal and my first solo planetstrike but also the best game ive had in a long time. Not just because I won but the way it was played with concessions and comprises that made the game more fun and I think embodies what our clubs all about. You can be competetive on a friendly game level and still have fun without overpowered or unbalanced armies.

Its a daemon world game numbnuts. If noone challenges me by Friday I would like to challenge an inperial player who still has a hive city as I like cities of death games and I want hive cities. Failing that I challenge tom for one of his on frost planet of daemon world

on another note any imperials wishing to beat daemons nows the time. Half of the stuff out Tzeentchian friend uses has been hit so hard by the nefr bat it bounced through time and hit the chaos marine codex too. Screamers and flamers are no longer the best thing in the book, by a loooong shot
