Club Night - 18/3/13

Ok, the campaign is taking a rest for a couple of weeks while I get the end of season game sorted. This also gives us chance to get some friendly games in between the established members and some of the new faces. So challenge away everybody!

I'm going to drag Bradley down and give his chaos a good kicking whilst bringing him upto speed with the 6th edition rules.

Would it not be be better for you 2 to take advantage of the campaign break and get a game in against some of the vets, id recommend me and ginge as we can teach you good. Up to you though either way I will bring 2k of 40k

Its better to stick to 2k unless otherwise agreed with your opponent in advance. Also makes it handy if your oppo doesnt turn up then your already set to go if someone else can step in. When the campaigns done we can set up some way of making sure people get diff oppos or even do some team games play some of the battle missions. Combat patrol nights can be quite fun too and a good way to make sure everyone gets games in when were busy.

Jamie if your bringing marines and your friends bringing chaos it might be better if I play you and your friend plays ginge, unless you want to play ginge then I can bring my spacewolves to play your friend. You pick

What are you running if I bring my marines? Paul's got either chaos or tyranids (I thin, he'd prefer his chaos).

If you bring marines I can bring chaos for a more fighty fight or I can bring my spacewolves for a more hairy fight

I'm running a brand new stat up from my marines so either doesn't really make a difference. I think the chaos would be very authentic as imperial fists against the wolves just doesn't sit right (great history and tight allies).

Fair dos how many points. Lucky only a few of my units are painted or black vs yellow might make the board look like a derranged bee

Lol. I've got a 2k army ready to go or I'm happy to field a little more if you want as we won't have a huge amount of miniatures on the table (I've got around 17k worth off into to pick from) lol.

Think we shall stick with 2k until youve played a bit more 6th ed. Theres only a couple of us that can manage 3k plus on a Monday night. Doesnt help all the pregame stuff some armies have to do now, especially chaos and daemons

Not 100% sure if Paul's coming tomorrow. He's as flakey as over cooked fish and as reliable as a 1970's British key land car!
